Ever wonder “what is wrong with me?”
Things in your life are going well right now; you have a great job, make good enough money, have some friends. But it feels off. Other people seem so much happier while you are waiting for something to fall apart. You can’t seem to let your guard down and just enjoy life.
What you really feel right now, is lonely. This isn’t a new feeling for you but you are finding it more and more concerning that you have seemingly great people around you and you still feel alone. When you really think about it, you aren’t sure the last time you trusted someone fully – there has always been a fear they will hurt you somehow. And you usually break things off before you could really feel hurt.
Lately you’ve been asking yourself – why can’t things be easier for me? You haven’t found an answer and have no idea what to do. You just know you want to feel happy and loved. I help people stop feeling so alone and confused.
I help people get clear about what is going on with themselves so they can move towards a calmer, happier life. Together we figure out why you are having so much trouble with things you think should be easy, why you can’t stop worrying, and why you are struggling to feel good.
We get these results from a psychological evaluation using interviews and testing. The whole process is designed to answer your questions and meet your needs. I also provide counseling when appropriate - and if I’m not the right counselor for you I am happy to refer you to the right match.
A psychological evaluation is helpful when you can’t answer these questions on your own. It gives you some clarity about the issues you are having and guides you toward getting better. It helps identify if you need therapy, what to work on in therapy, if talking to someone about medication might be a good option, and gives you information to help yourself. Many people find the process of a good evaluation therapeutic and feel relief when they finally have some answers. Learn more about my services here.
My office is in Meridian, Idaho and I can meet with people for interviews throughout Idaho on video using a secure platform (doxy.me if you are interested); you might hear this called telehealth or teletherapy. Depending on your testing needs, you might need to make a visit to my office.
