You’re overwhelmed and stressed out.
Taking a deep breath to try to steady yourself, you felt like you were on the verge of a panic attack.
You thought you were handling things okay.
But this conversation with your partner, proved otherwise.
Now you’re analyzing everything about your life. You know something needs to change, yet…
You don’t see a way out.
There’s no one you can talk to about these feelings.
You’re wondering if you can ever really “get better.”
You want a healthy relationship, where you and your partner can support and enjoy each other.
Instead it feels like you’re riding a freight train that’s destined to crash.
You need someone who can help you. You need Therapy.
Really, you need a space to pay attention to YOU.
We’ll make space for you to safely feel the frustration, guilt, unhappiness, and worry you’ve kept bottled up without letting it overwhelm you.
You’ll pay attention to your thoughts so you can connect the dots and see the bigger picture.
From there, you can dig deep to discover what those feelings and beliefs are trying to tell you. What is it you’re trying to protect yourself from?
You’ll discover there are old memories of pain and rejection. Sure, you may have coped with them and changed your thoughts about what happened, but your heart is still gripping tightly.
With someone who really has your back, you can loosen that grip, let go of those hurts, and finally feel relief.
This is the path to lasting change.
Get on track for a calmer, happier life.
The beauty of being on this path is that throughout the journey, you are getting back into the driver’s seat instead of your emotions. You’re discovering a sense of calm. Your self-compassion grows. And perhaps most importantly, you’re learning to trust yourself.
That doesn’t mean you become a robot with no feelings. It simply means you’re in control, and those feelings of guilt, fear, and frustration are no longer hijacking your car.
When you are no longer driven by the belief that you aren’t good enough, you bring in the confidence to do things like go after your dream job.
When you release your gripping fear of loneliness and rejection, you begin to develop friendships with people who love you for you.
When you finally stop feeling guilty about taking care of yourself, the spark in your relationship will be rekindled.
Enjoy your life again!
What’s been stopping you?
You’ve worked hard at trying not to let your emotions drive the car. But you haven’t quite figured out the right tools yet.
Strategies like deep breathing, muscle relaxation, exercise, yoga, and journaling – you try a lot! Those work for the moments you’re doing them, maybe a little longer. But the feelings come back. You don’t just “get over it.”
You’ve tried to logic yourself out of your feelings. Let’s be honest – you’re smart – if logic was going to work, it would have worked a long time ago. That doesn’t mean it isn’t helpful sometimes. But it’s not the magic solution you hoped it would be.
What you can’t figure out is how to let your feelings exist without botting them up and having them explode at some later date over something small and relatively insignificant.
All the books, podcasts, and yes, even therapists – haven’t helped you figure it out, yet. It’s not that none of those things have been helpful. But, they haven’t stopped these patterns of taking care of everyone else but yourself from showing up in your life over and over. You don’t need just any therapist or any approach.
You need the right therapist.
You’ve had the nice therapist who was helpful at times. At other times you wondered if you were just going in circles venting – and thinking you could do that with a friend!
Deep down you know, there was a wall you kept up. There was this part of you that was worried about what your therapist really thought of you, and they couldn’t get through it. Sometimes you questioned if they really understood what you were trying to say through all your metaphors and stories. Other times you wondered if they saw through the cracks in your tough “I’m ok” exterior but didn’t nudge you the way you needed it.
You can see after an initial session how you really feel with me. You’ll be nudged forward, but you won’t be pushed off the cliff. I’ll really listen to the part of you that wants to say “I’m ok” or “I’m hanging in there” and you’ll get to share, in as little or as much detail as feels right, what you’re pushing down or bottling up when you say those things. What you’ll find is most important, is that you’re finally admitting those things to yourself. And that’s just the beginning!
You also need the right approach.
Yes, the tools you’ve gained in therapy have been helpful, yet something has been missing. You’ve stayed on the surface and there has been a lack of depth.
You could stick with band-aid approaches. With approaches that challenge your thoughts but don’t change your heart. Approaches that leave your very valid concerns feeling ignored. Or even approaches that bypass some very important steps in healing and can sadly leave you feeling worse.
What if you tried something different?
You want to feel better fast, but the supposed “quick” approaches haven’t worked well enough for you. The truth is my approach (IFS-informed) can feel slow AND slow is actually fast. If we go too fast, you end up doing yourself more harm than good. Too fast blows right by important feelings and beliefs that are so automatic you don’t even notice them. Too fast helps you hide behind “I’m ok.” Too fast keeps you in shallow end.
There are no quick fixes that aren’t more than band-aids. If you want a band-aid, I’m not your person. If you want deep, long-lasting healing, stick with me. You’ll learn to trust that slow really is fast.
Slow means consistent, weekly, hour-long sessions – with time off for holidays of course! Weekly helps us not have to focus on current fires, instead we’ll get to prevent fires. That’s what you really want anyway, right – for those bottled-up emotions not to explode and start an unnecessary fire?
It’s time to save yourself.
You already know it’s time to invest in your healing. It will help with your relationships, your career, and your LIFE. Most importantly, it will help you fully trust that no matter what happens in life – you’ve got your own back and you are going to be okay.
Free yourself from overwhelm, excessive stress, and looming panic.
Feel valued and appreciated so you can rest easy at night.
Have fun on date nights! And do fun activities again, like relaxing in a hot spring!
Don’t let anxiety steal your peace for one more day of your life.

You get to choose.
You can go it alone. Continue reading all the books or listening to all the podcasts. Perhaps gaining a better understanding of yourself. Maybe getting some ideas about how to help yourself. Half of them will probably tell you to get a therapist to help you with it all anyways. Meanwhile you’re drowning and losing hope that things really could be better. Not to mention getting overwhelmed by all the things you’re told to try while doubting if they will actually work for you.
You can keep working with nice enough but not deep enough therapists. Filling your mental health “toolbox” but never getting to the root of the problem. Continuing to trudge forward but not finding the relief you’re looking for. All along feeling frustrated because you are working so hard to feel better, but never knowing if the tool you pick is going to work each time.
Or, you can try something different. You can work with a therapist that loves going deep, helping you connect the dots you wouldn’t see yourself, and getting to the root of the issue so you can finally feel calmer and move forward.
